Q: Are your mixes peanut and tree nut free?
A: YES! Our facility is a completely peanut and tree nut free facility. We require each of our ingredient suppliers to provide a non-contamination statement for our records. For additional security, we perform ELIZA rapid peanut tests on the raw ingredients as they arrive at our facility. Lastly, we send out samples of all our mixes for additional testing for peanuts, dairy, egg, and gluten to an outside certified lab.
Q: Are your mixes dairy free, lactose free and casein free?
A: Yes, Yes, and Yes. We run our products on dedicated equipment that does NOT share dairy (or egg) products. Our raw ingredients are also dairy or egg free and we use certified testing to confirm that our finished products are in fact dairy free.
Q: Are your mixes egg free?
A: Yes. Our products are run on dedicated equipment that does NOT share egg products. We also batch test to confirm that our products are indeed egg free.
Q: Are your frosting gluten free?
A: Yes, we use an ELIZA rapid gluten test to ensure our frostings are gluten free.
Q: Are your products soy free?
A: Currently, any of our products that contain Chocolate chips do contain soy lethicin such as our Regular Chocolate Cake and our Regular and Gluten Free Chocolate Chip Cookie mixes. All our other mixes are soy free including our Wheat Free, Gluten Free Chocolate Cake. Our Gluten Free Chocolate Cake Mix packaging features a purple border and “swish” to indicate that it is gluten and wheat free.
Q: Do your mixes contain sesame seeds?
A: No, our mixes do not contain any sesame seeds.
Q: Are your mixes Kosher?
A: Yes, all of our mixes are certified Kosher by the Orthodox Union.
Q: Are your products vegetarian and/or vegan?
A: Yes, all of our mixes are vegetarian without eggs, dairy, honey or animal products or by-products. The definition for vegan is subjective and while our products meet the ingredient based requirements for a vegan diet, our frostings do contain confectionary sugar which is a processed sugar.
Q: Are your products All Natural?
A: Yes, Cherrybrook Kitchen mixes do not contain any chemicals, preservatives, artificial flavoring or colors.
Q: Are your products approved by the Feingold Association?
A: Yes, all of our products have been accepted by the Feingold Association, which is an organization of families and professionals, dedicated to helping children and adults apply proven dietary techniques for better behavior, learning and health. We are featured in their Foodlist & Shopping Guide publication.

Patsy developed these Allergy Alert Cards to take with her when she goes out to dinner to ensure her safety. The card specifies to the restaurant staff and to the chef who prepares her meal exactly what she is allergic to so there is no confusion.
